Meet the Founder: Amy Guiriansoro
My professional journey began after relocating to the United States with my family in 2013. One year later, I joined Marriott International in Washington, D.C., as an associate. My dedication and strong attention to detail quickly earned me a promotion to Guest Service Representative, where I managed front desk operations and performed a variety of bookkeeping tasks, including billing and cash handling. My commitment to accuracy and excellent customer service contributed to increased guest satisfaction scores for the hotel.
To focus more deeply on financial operations, I transitioned into a bookkeeper role within the Marriott Accounting Department in Maryland. In this position, I managed accounts payable and accounts receivable, including handling financial reporting, account reconciliations, billing support, and invoice processing, as well as period-end processing. These efforts significantly strengthened the department’s overall efficiency and earned me the prestigious 2024 J. Willard Marriott Award of Excellence—an honor recognizing outstanding performance and a strong commitment to high-quality financial support.
After several successful years, I was promoted to Payroll Administrator in Washington, D.C. In addition to overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable, I restructured the hotel’s payroll system to improve efficiency and accuracy. I managed payroll operations for more than 300 employees, including payroll processing, paycheck and earnings-statement generation, and compliance monitoring.
